JMARS version 5.7.1 brings several usability improvements and bug fixes mostly related to Radar Focus Panel..
JMARS Release Update
This JMARS release includes new radar focus panel updates, and a fix for macOS users.
Radar Improvements
- Added options for generating elevation chart data from the default MOLA source, a specified nadir height, or another numeric map source.
- Corrected MOLA elevation sampling to properly account for west longitude coordinates.
- Improved elevation sampling by using the radar stamp's actual footprint.
- Added a CSV export option for elevation charts.
- Added GUI enhancements
- Improved elevation chart resizing when a different radar observation is selected.
- Fixed an error that could occur when horizon labeling was enabled but no horizons were present.
General JMARS Improvement
- Fixed a macOS issue where maximizing the JMARS window could move it to a separate desktop.
