Release Notes

This release of JMARS allows users to pull stamps into HSV or RGB blends in the map layer, to load stamps that overlap stamps in an existing stamp layer, and includes a number of user interface and stability improvements in the crater counting, map, and shape layers, and more.

This is a major release, providing a dozen new features all over JMARS and closing over 50 issues. There are two new layers. The map scalebar shows a distance scale bar in the corner of the map. The crater counter provides an efficient user interface for marking craters. The shape layer has a new style editor, a new column editor that can auto calculate lon, lat, area, perimeter, azimuth, or get stats from map layers under each shape, and the layer may now be saved to session files. Stamp layer performance and stability has been greatly improved. THEMIS brightness temperature can be plotted from individual images. There are new color ramps in the map layer's color stretcher. And more!

This release adds spectral analysis with the TES instrument, THEMIS derived products in the stamp layer, bookmarking of favorite places, significant performance improvements, closes a number of issues, and much more.

This is a large release that includes a lot of new functionality. The highlights? Installers, user-editable documentation, map contours, hundreds of high resolution mosaics, new global maps, and viking stamps can be browsed!
